12月13日 Safe? Are you NUTS?!This is rather a continuation of the last post.
Over on one of the forums, some twit was carrying on about how the gods are 'safe' and don't ever do anything 'bad'. Um....right. In what alternate universe?
The gods are no perfect love, they have their own quirks and flaws. Sometimes those flaws cause major upheaval or even devastation. This is something to keep in mind before you randomly pick some 'kewl' god to work with.
As I've said about the pagan path in previous entries, it's not easy. Working with the gods is a VERY intimate relationship. While they will love you, they will also push and test you, challenging you to become the very best you can be. And it's far from peachy to be forced out of your comfort zone. It's downright terrifying at times.
So if someone tells you that the gods are cute, cuddly celestial puppies that NEVER bite, they are either selling something, or they've never actually worked with any.
